More About the Initiative:

At Bank of Central Florida, our leadership team made a decision to reiterate one of our Core Values, “We Care.” At our annual Holiday Party this year, Bank of Central Florida Founder and CEO, Paul Noris,  announced that base salaries will increase by $2,500 for all employees.

Overall, that’s an average of a 3.5% salary increase.

Staff company-wide are excited about the gift. “It was amazing to be with my coworkers at the holiday party and receive this news together,” said Heather Stenger, Deposit Operations Specialist. “I feel appreciated that I work for a bank where the leadership team truly cares about its employees and their families.”

The purpose of the salary increase is to show appreciation and place value on each and every employee at Bank of Central Florida. “We believe it is important to take care of our most valuable asset, our employees,” said Mr. Noris. “We hope this gesture will confirm our commitment to our core value of ‘We Care.’”

Mr. Noris and the Bank of Central Florida leadership team understand the structural changes, inflation and wage pressures taking place over the past few months. Rising gas prices, food prices and scarcity of some items makes the holiday season tough. The leadership team at Bank of Central Florida anticipates that the salary boost will offset these challenges.

So, this holiday season, we are celebrating generosity. We show that “We Care” by remembering that our generous acts, big and small, make a difference.

“The decision to increase our base salaries has been by far something I’ve never experienced in my 30+ years employed,” said Nylda Reyes, Plant City Community Support Specialist. Nylda said it best: “‘We Care’ is not just a phrase thrown on a piece of paper. Bank of Central Florida really lives up to its core values.”
