To best serve you, we understand that every client interaction ought to be personal, dedicated and focused. We recently spoke to local business owner, Ronnie Swilley, to communicate why our connection with the community is so important.

Our very first priority at Bank of Central Florida is our relationship with our clients. When it gets down to it, the connection we develop with the community is the life of our company. At every step of the process, our team members and businesses maintain longstanding, fulfilling relationships.

Twenty years ago, business-owner Ronnie Swilley connected with one of our Plant City commercial relationship managers, James Garner. Ronnie met James when he banked at a previous institution. They worked closely together for several years to support the financial needs of Ronnie’s business, Precision Meter Repair.

Over the years, Ronnie and James developed a meaningful friendship centered around Ronnie’s business and its growth. “James knew me, and he knew what PMR was about,” said Ronnie. Ronnie knew that he couldn’t get the level of service, attention to detail and interpersonal connection that James offered him anywhere else.

Precision Meter Repair is the leading natural gas and propane metering service in Florida. PMR was founded by Ronnie’s father in the late 1970s, and has been operating for over 42 years.

PMR is a family business, and is proud to provide the best service in the industry. It must uphold its expert reputation. Ronnie can’t afford to work with a bank that doesn’t thoroughly understand his business and his needs; that’s why he trusts James.

Last year, due to all the business’s recent success, PMR required a larger space and bigger manufacturing unit. Ronnie told James that he’d been looking at a property on Reece Road to expand his facility. James went to work: he secured a loan, connected Ronnie with other professionals in the area, and helped prepare the new location to open.

James’ quick action and personalized attention allowed Ronnie to reach and surpass his goals for PMR.

We believe that our clients deserve more than a business connection, but a personal one. We care about your business, and we care about you.

In our interview with Ronnie, we visited PMR’s brand new building that opened this past March. Personal dedication, knowledgeable service and teamwork made growth possible. We’ll continue to do so, as we are propelling forward together.
